Jack Lipski is the son of one of the founding families of Shepherd of the Hills, which began in 1963. He began working with youth in 1969 as a third grade Sunday School teacher here at Shepherd of the Hills. Since that time he has been involved with the Youth Program as a volunteer until 1982 when he accepted a paid position as Youth Director. Jack completed his undergraduate work at the University of Colorado, Boulder, with majors in Developmental Biology, English Literature and Secondary Education. Upon graduation, Jack taught Jr. and Sr. High School as well as Special Education until accepting the position as Youth Director. In 1992, Jack completed his Master's Degree in Counseling at Colorado Christian University.
Presently, Jack serves as half-time School Counselor and half-time Director of Family Ministries. He is married to Susan Duffy, the daughter of a founding family of Shepherd of the Hills, whom he has known since third grade. Jack and Sue have two children, Lauren and Nicholas.
