Mary has worked at Shepherd of the Hills in many different capacities since 1986. She worked part-time as a custodian in the early years and transitioned to a part-time office assistant in 1989. In 2000 Mary came on full-time as Office Resource Coordinator, moving to Office Manager in 2003. In the fall of 2005 Mary chose to pursue an Associates Degree in Business Administration, graduating with honors in May 2007. In addition, Mary earned certification as a Human Resource Specialist. Working full-time while attending school full-time proved to be a good training program in preparation for the position change to Church Business Administrator in July 2007.
Mary is a member of NACBA - National Association of Church Business Administration. She serves as President of the local chapter and is a member of the national organization. She also serves as Secretary for the Lutheran Church Business Administration Association, an organization whose purpose is to recognize the uniqueness of Lutheran theology as it relates to LutheranChurch administration.
