SOTHLS Mission Statement
"Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Shepherd of the Hills Christian School  seeks to strengthen families by helping parents to train their children in a Christian way of life and by fostering a parent/teacher bond which glorifies God by encouraging student’s spiritual growth, academic excellence and Christian service to all in need."

Day School    

God has blessed us with a fine Preschool - 8th grade Christian School with a dedicated staff.  We have an enrollment of 290 students.  We have 16 full-time teachers and many support staff members, plus a host of great volunteers that support the school. 

 
A Christ-centered experience in all areas of learning and recreation

  • Complete elementary and middle school curriculum, including Bible-study, reading, math, English, social studies, spelling, science, art, music, literature and physical education
  • Dedicated, fully accredited and certified Christian teachers
  • An opportunity for children not only to learn how to "make a living" but also how to "make a life"
  • Modern classroom facilities, spacious grounds and indoor play facilities
  • Licensed, on premises, before and after school childcare available for the working parent
  • Special programs in athletics, band, choir, art, drama, foreign language and computers
  • Supported by a tradition of Christian education through a nationwide system of over 2000 parochial schools with over 150 years of experience
